bukhari rice

bukhari rice
Ingredients
*Rice 
*Carrot 
*Peas 
*Potatoes
*Raisins
*Chicken
*Cinnamon
*Bay leaf
*Maggi cubes
*Turmeric
*Cloves
*Black pepper
*Ginger and garlic
*Groundnut oil

Procedure:
*Wash your rice preferrable(basmati) but i used regular rice and it turned out fine.
Strain it and set it aside.
*Marinade your chicken with clove,black pepper,maggi cube,cinnamon and some tumeric, and roast it in your non stick pan
* Feel your potatoes and cut them to your desired shape, add some salt and fry them.
 Now put your pot on fire add some oil, put ginger and garlic paste saute for a minute then add your onions and fry till golden brown.  Add your cinnamon bay leaf and your rice and fry them constantly turning with your spatula for 5mins then add water. 

When the rice is almost done reduce the heat add your carrots, peas, raisins and chicken turn the rice and cover all the meat. Then add your fried potatoes and cover it let it steam for atleast 5minutes or more and then its done.

miyar lawashi (spring onion soup)


Ingredients
*Spring onion
*Scotch pepper
*Onion
*Groundnut
*Meat/fish
*Spinach
*Palm oil


Its very simple to make. Finely chop your spring onions and set aside. 
Cook your meat till tender.
In a clean pot add your oil and your chopped or grinded pepper and onions, saute for 2minutes then add your ground nut (grinded). Add your meat stock and cover your pot.
After it starts to boil put your spring onion and spinach, mix them and add your fish/meat. Cover it for another minute and your soup is done.

Note: if the soup is too thick add some meat stock or water.
